If you trailer, board, train or breed non-owned horses, this legal liability coverage will defend you in the event that someone else’s horse is injured or dies while in your care. If you are transporting a horse owned by someone else and are involved in a vehicular accident, you could be held legally responsible.
CC&C will cover defense costs should a lawsuit be brought against you, and can also cover the medical expenses and replacement costs should you be found negligent in a court of law and deemed responsible for the injury or death to the horse that is in your Custody Care and Control at the time of the incident. Care Custody & Control is not available if you are a commercial carrier.
